Thanks, Ken. It’s good to from you and in general. Sometimes I feel like I’m writing into a vacuum. The political acrimony is heartbreaking on many levels.

Thanks. You just have to start. I was never a very good writer but I felt like I had a lot to say. It sort of goes hand in hand with my interest in public speaking. I have a unique perspective after everything I've been through and I'm looking for the most effective ways to convey those messages. So here we are.

The founding fathers were a unique group of individuals, I do not think that before or since has there been a group of people as well educated and as thoughtful as they were who were concerned about creating a democracy that would endure. I fear that our current leaders, many of whom may have degrees from important institutions, however I do not think they are nearly as well educated as almost all the founding fathers were.
